Priava Is Now Momentus: What Priava Venues Should Know

Shakewell ·

If your venue books its spaces in Priava, you have probably noticed the name on the login page has changed. Priava now belongs to Momentus Technologies, which has spent the last few years bringing several venue products under one brand. What that means for Priava itself is less clear, because Momentus has not published a roadmap for it.

This post sets out what we could confirm from public sources on 2 October 2026, what we could not, and the questions we would put to Momentus in writing if we ran a venue on Priava. It is not a criticism of Momentus or of Priava. Plenty of venues are well served by both.

How Priava became part of Momentus

Priava was founded in Sydney in 1997 and built a cloud venue booking and event management system for arenas, stadiums, universities, museums, councils, caterers, theatres and conference centres. By 2021 it had strong representation in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Ungerboeck, the US venue software company, acquired Priava in November 2021, a few months after merging with EventBooking, the maker of VenueOps. When the deal was announced, both companies said customers could keep using the products and services they already used without interruption. In early 2023 Ungerboeck rebranded as Momentus Technologies.

Priava has had many Australian customers, from museums and universities to sports bodies and local councils, according to press coverage over the years. Momentus still keeps an Asia Pacific login for Priava, so there are Australian venues with a fair question to ask.

What we could confirm about Priava today

  • The old website redirects. www.priava.com now sends visitors to gomomentus.com, Momentus’s home page.
  • The login is still there. Momentus runs a Momentus Priava login page with separate logins for the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific, linked from its site footer.
  • The apps are maintained. The Momentus Priava app, published by Momentus Technologies, was last updated on the App Store on 7 April 2025 and on Google Play on 26 November 2025. Both listings describe Priava as cloud-based venue and event management software and say the app is for existing customers only.
  • Priava is not in the product menu. Momentus lists Momentus Enterprise, the former Ungerboeck product, Momentus Elite, the former VenueOps, Momentus Ticketing and Momentus WeTrack as its products. Priava appears only as a login link, and the login page is the only Priava page in Momentus’s sitemap.
  • Customer events point to Enterprise and Elite. For its Asia-Pacific customer conference in August 2025, Momentus said most product-specific sessions would focus on Enterprise and Elite. It encouraged customers on Priava and EB Classic to attend sessions “based on the product(s) they are considering”.

What has not been announced

We found no public end-of-life date, end-of-sale notice or migration program for Priava on Momentus’s website, in its app listings or in the 2026 product announcements we read, which cover Momentus Ticketing in May and new AI features in September. None of those announcements mention Priava.

So the honest position is this. As far as public sources show, Priava is still supported: the login works, and the Android app was updated in November 2025. Momentus is not marketing it as a product, and its customer conference asked Priava users to pick sessions by the products they are considering. That does not mean a forced move is coming. It does mean the question is worth asking now, while you have time, rather than at renewal.

What reviewers said about Priava

Priava’s reviews were mostly kind. A Wayback Machine snapshot of Capterra Australia’s Priava listing from January 2023 showed 4.4 out of 5 from 17 reviews. Customer service scored highest at 4.8 and value for money lowest at 4.1, and the reviews on show dated from early 2020.

Reviewers praised day-to-day ease of use, the live diary and a responsive support team. The recurring complaints were that some reports were tricky to set up and some issues took a long time to resolve. That listing no longer loads on Capterra, so treat those figures as historical rather than current.

Questions to ask Momentus in writing

A phone call is reassuring. An email is something you can put in front of your board, your finance team or your procurement officer. We would ask:

  1. Is Priava on an active development roadmap, and what has shipped in the last 12 months?
  2. Is there an end-of-support or end-of-sale date for Priava, planned or under consideration?
  3. If Momentus intends Priava customers to move to Elite or Enterprise, which would it propose for our venue, and why?
  4. What would that move cost, including licence, implementation and data migration, and who pays for the migration work?
  5. Will our current pricing and contract terms carry over, and for how long?
  6. Which of our data comes across: booking history, contacts and organisations, opportunities, catering, documents and report templates?
  7. Can we run both systems in parallel during the change?
  8. What happens to our integrations, such as Xero, DocuSign or Zapier connections and anything built on the Priava API?
  9. Where is our data hosted now, and does that change if we move?
  10. How much notice will we get of any change to Priava, and is that notice in our contract?

Ask before your renewal date, not after it. The answers decide whether you have a choice to make at all.

If you decide to look around

Staying with Momentus is a reasonable outcome. A move inside one vendor can be simpler than changing vendors, and Momentus positions Elite for small and mid-sized venues, with implementation it describes as one to three months, and Enterprise for larger, more complex operations. Its own pages list stadiums under both, so ask which it would propose for your venue.

If the answers push you to compare, our guide to venue management software in Australia covers the shortlist and what separates a stadium’s needs from a function room’s. Moving off Momentus covers what to plan for if you leave the Momentus family altogether. Either way, take your data export, your integrations list and your report templates into the conversation. They are what make a move hard, whichever system you land on.

Where Booka fits

We built Booka, venue management software for stadiums and venue networks. It handles tiered provisional holds, conflict detection across a space hierarchy, approvals, rosters, run sheets, per-venue access, an audit log and an API for the building management system.

Booka is available to license, and Shakewell is a Registered supplier under the NSW ICT Services Scheme. It is narrower than a suite on purpose. If Momentus’s answers suit your venue, stay. If they don’t, we are happy to talk it through.

Common questions

Who owns Priava?

Momentus Technologies. Ungerboeck acquired Priava, a venue management software company founded in Sydney in 1997, in November 2021, and Ungerboeck rebranded as Momentus Technologies in early 2023.

Is Priava still supported?

As of 2 October 2026, yes as far as public sources show. Momentus runs a Priava login page with regional logins, and its Momentus Priava app was updated on Google Play in November 2025. We found no public end-of-life notice.

Will Priava customers have to move to Momentus Elite or Enterprise?

Momentus has not said so publicly. Its 2025 Asia-Pacific customer conference focused product sessions on Enterprise and Elite and asked Priava users to attend sessions based on the products they are considering. Ask your Momentus account manager directly, and get the answer in writing.

Does Momentus still list Priava as a product?

Not on its website. Momentus lists Enterprise, Elite, Ticketing and WeTrack as its products, and Priava appears only as a login link. That alone is not a support announcement, so confirm with Momentus what it means for your contract.
