Why we do not sell you an AI product
The AI landscape changes every few months. Any locked-in platform you buy today will be outrun by the technology within a year, and you will still be paying the subscription. Our approach is different: we build AI capability around your existing systems using interchangeable models, so when a better or cheaper model arrives, you swap it in rather than starting over. We then review the setup with you every six to twelve months to make sure you are still on the best stack for the job. You own the capability. Nobody owns you.

Common questions
What can AI realistically do for our business?
The reliable wins are narrow and unglamorous: search across documents nobody can find, summarising or classifying volumes of text, drafting under human review, and extracting structure from unstructured records. For the American Chemical Society that meant matching researchers to the right journal from a large catalogue — a narrow, measurable job rather than a general one. The projects that disappoint are the ones that start with the technology rather than a specific process that is measurably painful.
Is our data safe if we use AI?
It depends entirely on the architecture, which is why it is a design decision rather than an afterthought. Data residency, what leaves your environment, what is retained by a provider and what is used for training are all things to settle before building. For sensitive material, we design so the model sees the minimum necessary.
How do you stop it making things up?
By constraining what it can answer from and showing its sources. Grounding responses in your own documents, citing where each answer came from, and keeping a human in the loop where the cost of being wrong is real. Any system that cannot show its working should not be trusted with a decision that matters.
Do we need our own model?
Almost certainly not. Very few businesses need to train a model; most need good retrieval, clear prompts, sound evaluation and sensible guardrails around a capable existing model. That is a substantially smaller and cheaper project than the conversation usually assumes.
