Stadium websites, at match-day scale
We build and run the public websites for the NSW Government's major stadium network, and the member apps behind them. A venue site gets judged on the day it matters most: the fixture is on, the crowd is arriving, and everyone is on a phone at once.
What matters at the gate
A multi-venue web platform
Five stadium and entertainment-venue sites running on one Next.js platform, each with its own brand, fixtures and event content. One codebase to maintain and secure, so a fix or a feature reaches every venue at once instead of five times over.
Traffic that arrives all at once
Venue traffic is not steady — it spikes when tickets drop and again on match day. Server-rendered pages on a global edge network, so the site that has been quiet all week does not fall over in the hour that matters.
Wallet passes and gate entry
Membership cards that live in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, with QR entry that scans at gym and stadium gates. We run our own wallet platform — Shakewell Wallet — so passes, renewals and updates do not depend on a third-party vendor’s roadmap.
Booking and event management
We built Booka, the platform every stadium in the Venues NSW network now runs its bookings on: per-space scheduling across a venue hierarchy, tiered provisional holds that match how venue space is actually sold, approvals, event staffing and run sheets, with an audit trail throughout.
The operational layer too
Beyond the public site: member portals, parking, digital signage and menu boards. The systems a venue runs on the day, not just the one visitors see beforehand.
